Wow so I have been a total slacker... I cant believe that summer is over and that fall is in the air. We had a great summer and did tons of fun things. But the most exciting is that Josh FINALLY proposed!!!! We were at the Canyons Resort up in Park City. We rode the gondola up to the top of the mountian, and thats where he got down on one knee and asked! We are super excited and have already started the planning since we are going to be getting married in Cancun Mexico!! It has been really stressful trying to find the right spot but now that we have decided on a hotel I hope the planning gets a little easier...

Bachelorette Party

Saturday night was my friend Brianna'a Bachelorette party. We went to Adult dance and fitness and got pole dancing lessons. Let me just tell you, pole dancing is way harder then it looks. It was a lot of fun though! I wish her the very best of luck with her marriage!

We went to Bear Lake for the 24th! We always have such a great time when we go. Josh decided that he was going to ride the RZR over with my brother and 2 cousins. They left from Hardware Ranch and rode all the way to the cabin. They said it was a lot of fun anf hope to make that a tradition every year. Friday mid afternoon the wind started picking up so we decided to start packing up and get the boat back over to the marina, well the waves were so big that it pushed the boat underneath the water and ripped the seat and the side pannel right off my grandpa's boat. It was so scary but thank goodness nobody got hurt. We heard that 10 boats sunk that day. You just dont mess around with Bear Lake weather. That night I woke up to this noise and I thought it was a mouse so I was freaked out because I hate mice with a passion, so I woke Josh up and he wouldnt do anything so I went and woke my mom up to see what I should do. Well we walked back downstairs and were checking things out when all of a sudden this huge bat comes flying at our heads. We both let out this loud scream and fell to the floor. By this time we were laughing so hard that we woke up everybody in the cabin at 3:30 in the morning. Well there wasnt anything we could do at that point so we just all had to go back to bed with the covers over our heads! Saturday morning all the guys worked on getting this bat out of the cabin. It was the funniest thing ever! In the 30 plus years that my grandparents have had their cabin they have NEVER had a bat inside. We went back down to the beach and hung out all day with friends and family! It was such an eventful weekend and one that I will never forget!

Little Valley Days

Little Valley Days is a celebration they do every year up in Mantua. My dad lives up there and is on the city counsel so he got to be in the parade. He was also in charge of all the games so we helped out all day with that. It was so hot, I don't know how any of us survived the heat. I took the younger kids back to my dads house so they could play in the pool and cool off. Later that night we went back down to the park and had dinner and hung out until the fireworks started. The fireworks were so awesome, one of the best shows I have seen in a long time! We had a sleepover with all the kids so it was a house full but we all had a great time!

Mid July one of Daicin's training wheels fell off his bike so Josh just took the other one off, and let me just tell you Daicin is a pro! I keep telling Josh that Daicin is going to be a stunt man or something along those lines because that kid has NO FEAR!! He scares me to death sometimes with the things he does, but I guess thats all apart of being a boy!

So I finally took Daicin swimming at the pool by our house. For the past year and a half he has asked everytime we drive by if he can go swim. Last year was crazy everyday so I would rather blow up our pool and have him swim in the backyard, but this year hasnt been so bad so I took him Friday after I got off work. We went with my aunt Chris, cousin Josh and his 2 little girls, My friend Buffy and her two kids. It was alot of fun! Daicin and Kole swam their little guts out as did Kambell! It was fun to spend time with everybody and enjoy the beautiful day!

I cant believe that I am 24, where does the time go? We went to dinner Monday night with Josh's family and then we went to TGI Fridays on Wednesday on my birthday! ME, Josh, my mom, brother, dad, and his girlfriend all went. It was yummy food and great company! I was so excited to get my Chaco sandals! Ive been wanting a pair for a very long time and now I finally have them! Along with those I got the helmet that Ive wanted for awhile. Its bright pink and Fox! So cute! Josh is such a sweet heart, I just love him to death! When I woke up I found a rose waiting for me downstairs along with my card. He loves to surprise me with little things like that, which makes it fun I love it! So all in all I had a great day!

4th of July weekend!

For the 4th of July we went up to Bear Lake and stayed at my grandparents cabin. We love it up there and jump at every opportunity to go spend the weekend up there. We had so much fun hanging out with my family and hanging out down on the beach! Of course Josh had to take his RC cars (he cant go anywhere without them). It was funny because the boys decided they needed to build a jump for in down on the beach, and you wouldn't believe how many just stopped to watch him drive it. It was pretty funny! We had another great summer weekend!

Las Vegas June12th-14th

Friday June12th We flew to Las Vegas for my brothers 21st birthday! We just went for the weekend but we still managed to have a lot of fun! Me, Josh, Nash, my mom, Leo, my dad and Becky all went down friday and then my aunt Chris, cousin Shae, Tracy and Josh all came down Saturday afternoon. We stayed at the Palzzo, which was so gorgeous! Our room was like nothing I have ever seen. Friday night we went to the Blue Man Group. It was hilarious! I had tears rolling down my face cuz I was laughing so hard. After the show we wondered around town and did some sight seeing. Saturday we went to the buffet over at the Wynn (which was very tasty!) then we walked around town and went to the M&M Factory, and the Coke Factory. Saturday night we went to the "O" show at the Belagio. All I can say is WOW... It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. After the show we watched the water fountain show at the Belagio then went to Margaritaville and had dinner, then walked around town some more then Josh went to the casino and gambeled. Sunday we had to be out of our room at 11am so we decided to go to the Botanical Gardens at the Belagio. It was really pretty! But I had pictured it to be bigger, but it was still amazing to see what they can do with flowers. After that we went and ate at PF Changs. When we got back to the hotel Josh realized his phone had fallen out of his pocket at the resturant so luckly my dad wasnt to far away from the resturant so he went back and grabbed it and then just stoped by our house on his way home, but Nash wasnt so fortunate. He realized that his phone fell out of his pocket in the taxi cab :( So needless to say he didnt get his phone back. It was so much fun to get away and enjoy some beautiful weather for a change. It was a drag coming home to rain BLAH. But anyways... Josh and I decided that we need to go back again and stay a few days longer so we can see the stuff we missed this weekend.

Busy Weekend

Saturday June 6th we went to my moms house for a bbq in the afternoon and to watch the Hill Air Force Base Air Show. We had a great time with family and enjoyed excellent food! Then that night we went to my cousin Brittlyn wedding up in Brigham City. She looked gorgeous and I am so happy for her. We wish her and Ian the very best of luck in all their future adventures together! Then on Sunday we went up to my aunts house and had another bbq with my dad's side of the family, which doesnt happen very often because they all live in different states. So it was nice to be able to spend time with them before they all went home. So needless to say this weekend was jam packed with family events and i loved it!

Friday June 5th we went to a BBQ for my cousins wedding then Josh and I went to the Drive-Inn with my dad, Becky and her kids. We went and seen UP. It is the cutest movie! We havent been to the Drive-Inn in forever so it was really fun to be able to go.

Memorial Day Weekend

Josh and I go to the sand dunes every year for Memorial Day Weekend! This year we went to St Anthony, ID. I love it it down there and was so excited to finally be able to go ride this year. The weather is really never that great but we still make the best of it and have fun! It rained off and on all weekend but it didnt stop us from riding, and if it did we hung out in the trailer and watched movies! This year my brother Nash and cousin Dylan joined us. Im so excited that it is getting warm so we can go do the things we love in the summer which is camping and riding.

Supercross

April 25th we went to Super cross at the Rice Eccles Stadium in SLC! We got there early enough that we had time to walk through the pits and had the chance to look at everbody's bikes! The rain and the freezing cold weather didnt stop us from having fun! Daicin had a blast watching the race and especially loved it when the fire and fireworks would go off! It was a very exciting race and # 7 James Stewart won it! (YAY)

Birthday Party/ Bon-Fire

Saturday April 18th we had Daicin's birthday party! We just had it at a local park, which was still really fun. Daicin loves being outside and so to be able to play at the park was so awesome to him. He had so much fun playing with all the little kids that came and had even more fun opening all of his present! I tell ya that kid is spoiled! I had to go through all his toys and get rid of the ones he didn't really play with anymore to make room for all the new ones he got. Later that night we went over to Spank and Amy's house because they were having a Bon-Fire! So we got to roast hot dogs over the fire and just hang out and enjoy the nice fire. It was so much fun! Josh took his pit bike over because Spank has built a mini track in his backyard so they rode around and showed off there stuff! I tried riding Josh's bike but it makes me really nervous so I didn't last for very long. But at least I tried right?!

Daicin's 4th Birthday!

Daicin's Birthday was on April 15th so we decided to take him to Chuck-E-Chesse that night. (we will never go back) But anywyas... He had so much fun playing all the games and he was so amazed by the big stuffed mouse. My mom decided to join us which was fun to have her there. Josh and I decided to take Daicin to Supercross this year so that was part of his birthday present. So with that we kind of went with a motorcycle theme with all of his gifts. He got a couple of motorcycles that have the guys with them, some shirts, flip flops and a basketball outfit! He was really excited to get some more motorcycles to play with! (It's his new favorite thing to play with). I cant believe he is already 4 it makes me sad to think he is growing up so fast :(

So Josh is so funny! He woke me up this morning and said that he hid Easter eggs around the house for me to find! I guess with Daicin not being with us this year I had to take his spot finding all the eggs. So I searched all over the house and found the eggs. My favorite one was the one that had $10 in it. I love it when Josh plays Easter Bunny! Josh and I just cleaned all day and then had my mom over for a yummy stuffed shells dinner! We had a good day just being home all day not doing much of anything.

Beaver Mountain

The Beaver Mountain Race was up Logan Canyon at the ski resort. The race was April 10th & 11th. We stayed at my brothers house in Logan so that was fun to be able to spend some time with him. My aunt Chris came up Friday afternoon and hung out with us. She loves coming to the races so its always fun to have her join us whenever she can. This was the last race of the season so its kind of bitter sweet. As soon as we got home Saturday night Josh got busy and started tearing his sled apart so he can build a turbo! So hopefully he will qualify next year. It has been a fun race season and we are looking forward to next year!

Pebble Creek, ID

We left Friday morning April 3rd and came home Sunday April 5th. I was thinking we were going to have bad weather but it turned out to be beautiful all weekend!! My friend Lara Leigh came with us so I had somebody to sit with while Josh was racing. It was really fun to have her there because we haven't had the chance to get together very often. All in all we had a fun time! And actually had the chance to sit in the hot tub at the hotel!

Jackson Hole, WY

This past weekend we went up to Jackson Hole! We were so excited to go up there because it is the world championship snowmobile hill climb. We left Thursday morning and came home Sunday night. Me, Josh, Jodi (mom), Leo, Chrissy, and Cory all drove up together. When we got all situated in our condo Josh went with his buddy to the racer meeting and we ended up not seeing him the rest of the night! So the rest of us decided to go get something to eat. So we went to a Mexican place right in the middle of town. It was really yummy!! After that we went to the grocery store and bought food for the rest of the weekend. Friday morning we got up and headed to the hill. We couldn't have asked for a better day! That night we had a yummy spaghetti dinner and just hung out and played games and waited for my dad and brother to get there. Saturday we got up and the girls decided to go into town and get some shopping done! After we were done we got ready and went up to the hill to watch the rest of the race. That night we had home made pizza's thanks to Leo! Josh's family came over and ate with us so that was fun! Again we just hung out and played games all night. Sunday we got up packed everything in the truck and headed over to the hill for the last day of racing. It was a complete blizzard all day long so it was really cold but we still had fun! We rode the chairlift up to the top of the mountain and then walked down a little bit and watched the race from the side lines! It was really cool to be that up close and personal with the racers. This hill is so wicked, there were rocks and stumps and ruts as big as me! There were several crashes that were awesome to see but at the same time you were nervous to see if the guy was ok. The race got over around 4pm so we headed home. It was a horrible drive home because of bad weather but we made it home safe!

Lost Trail, Montana

So last weekend we went to Lost Trail Ski resort in Montana. We left Friday morning at 5:00am... Yes you heard me right 5 am. I have no idea how Josh got up that early and stayed awake. It was the most boring, long drive ever. (If you cant tell I HATE being in a vehicle for that long). It was a 7 hour drive so not extremely long, but long enough. So when we got there we got all situated then decided to go check into our room. When we finally got to the place we all looked at each other and were really nervous because it reminded us of the movie the deliverance. It was in the middle of nowhere in these thick tree's. (creepy!) So we went and checked in and told they guy there were only 4 of us when actually there were 6. Don't judge I know you have all done it as well! It was a bunch of cabins that we were staying in so we got ours and it wasn't as bad as it looked. It was pretty new so that helped clam our nerves a little bit. After we got unpacked we went up to the lodge for dinner and we got caught with having 6 people so they made us move into a different cabin. Oh let me just tell you the second cabin was HORRIBLE!!! It was freezing cold, stunk, the bathroom was disgusting I didn't even want to take a shower but luckily I had my flip flops! The pool and hot tub were hot springs but were just as horrible. So we were all pretty disappointed that we couldn't sit in a hot tub and relax after a long drive but there is no way any of us were going to sit in it. The pictures on the internet were totally different from what it actually was. But anyways... The race was fun Josh did a great job even though his mod sled broke :( It was really windy so that made it extremely cold.

Friday night we went to dinner and then went bowling! We went with Spank, Amy and Hadlie! We ended up going to Weber State because everywhere else either had leagues, had an hour wait, or even went out of business. It was a ton of fun! Amy smoked us all, she is a pretty good bowler. Thanks Kendrick family for going out with us!!

Snowmobile Race

So Josh loves to Snowmobile and is a member of the RMSHA snowmobile hill climb association. From January to April they have 10 races and they are all over, from Utah to Idaho to Montana to Nevada to Wyoming. So its really fun to be able to have to chance to travel all over the states. This past weekend we were in Afton Wyoming. We left Thursday morning and got home late Sunday night. Afton is one of the scariest hills (in my opinion) just because it is so steep and has a ton of rocks and tree stumps but that also makes it a very exciting race. Josh did a very good job even though he didn't qualify. He made it to the top in two of his classes and didn't crash so that was a very good thing! I am so proud of him!
